Burnt Garlic Maggi

Updated: Jun 29, 2020

The name of Maggi instant noodles doesn't need any introduction as it's also a family member of most Indian families. The name itself is enough to make your mouth full of water. People of any age group have strong affairs with maggi. If you have kids, then surely your kitchen rack must have this Maggi noodles. Obviously it's a anytime snack, to fill your hunger. So if you are bored of having maggi cooking in the same way, then I am here with this burnt garlic recipe which will surely hit your taste buds. You can make this recipe in two ways, with sauce or without sauce. I personally like the without sauce one as I'm not a fan of sauce, but my friends like with sauce more. You can also add some extra ingredients. I am here adding eggs. You can add veggies of your choice or even paneer or prawn. In this burnt garlic maggi, you can feel the smokiness of garlic. Garlic itself is a strong ingredient to make the dish flavourful. Here the burnt garlic with butter explodes more flavour.

Ingredients:

1 packet regular instant maggi noodles

2 eggs (you can use veggies as onion, capsicum, bell peppers etc)

8-9 garlic cloves chopped

1 green chili chopped

1 tsp soy sauce

1 tsp green chili sauce

1 tsp tomato ketchup

1 tbsp butter

1 tsp oil

1 1/2 cup water

salt

pinch of black pepper

Method:

First of all boil the maggi in plain water, without the tastemaker. Keep it little bit underdone. Drain it and keep aside.

For eggs, heat oil in a pan. Beat the eggs with little bit salt and a pinch of black pepper. Add the eggs. Stir for 2 minutes on high flame or till the eggs are done. Keep this scrambled egg aside.

Heat a heavy bottom wok or pan. Add butter and oil. Oil will prevent butter to burn.

Add garlic and green chilies. Let it turn into light golden brown.

If you are using sauces, add it in this step. Keep the flame medium-high. I personally like this recipe without sauce. If you want to make this without sauce skip this step.

Add maggi. Then add tastemaker. Toss it on high flame. Add the scrambled eggs and toss for another 30 second.Serve this burnt garlic maggi hot.
